Wait for discounts! Skins are always on sale and you can save yourself some serious Riot Points by waiting for sales. The skins sales always have a good mixture of champion options so you can easily get a bargain.
Wait for discontinued skin opportunities. Riot Games is regularly retiring skins, isn't it much cooler to own a skin that nobody else can ever purchase again?
If possible buy champion bundles, these bundles often give you 1 or 2 champion skins along with a newly released champion and are a great way to save some RP.
Only buy skins for champions that you've got a long history of playing, there is no point to buying that Taric skin if you never play Taric. Stick to only buying skins for your favourite champions that you use regularly otherwise you are simply wasting your Riot Points.
